The BoxR – #notreversible

The cable car squeaked as the old lift operator looked up.
— “Another one…” grumbled the lift operator, shaking his head as a pilot wrestled, sweating, with his reversible harness.
It looked as if he were trying to pull a hose over a beach ball.
— “Here, look at this,” said the lift operator, pulling a harness out of his hut.
“This is The BoxR. A harness that only wants to fly, with storage at the back. No flipping required.”
The pilot stared at him in astonishment.
No twists, no turns. Just clarity.
— “No more contortions,” growled the lift attendant. “Once you’ve climbed the mountain, you just strap into the BoxR and take off.”

The BoxR – Not to wear upside down

How to describe The BoxR…

…in one word?
Intuitive

…in one image?
That feeling when you take your first step into the air.

…in one dream?
Putting your BoxR on, start dreaming… waking up among the clouds.

In the designer’s words…

Every flight is a unique experience. With a simple and efficient harness, you can focus entirely on yourself, your wing, and the sky. That’s exactly what The BoxR was designed for.
According to our philosophy, the BoxR is both durable and lightweight. It supports you from ground handling to your first cross-country flights, without compromising comfort or safety.
In its versatility, the BoxR delivers more freedom and a pure flying experience.
Equipped with the AirPillow Max as standard, the BoxR is one of the most compact and lightweight harnesses in its class. This is flying made effortless.
For flight schools, the optional FoamPillow Max (Foamprotector) is available. It is especially practical for daily use, as it doesn’t need to be inflated every day. This makes the start of any flight adventure even easier.
In short: The BoxR is more than just a harness for paragliders. It’s your companion on your new adventures.

Comfort in every flight phase
The tilting seatboard makes the transition between sitting and standing effortless, providing comfort and freedom of movement at every moment of the flight.

Air is protector
Your harness packing bag is also used to inflate the protector. You can inflate the protector by mouth too. So, the bag or your lungs? One of the two involves more bacteria but the choice is yours! In any case, these are the two methods we recommend for inflating the inflatable AirPillow protector.

The AirPillow is a protector that inflates by mouth or, better still, using the packing bag created for this purpose. The necessary air pressure is easily measured thanks to the resistance experienced when supplying air with the inflation bag or thanks to your lungs. Like any inflated volume, the AirPillow will increase in pressure with altitude. The length of the hose has been designed to allow the pressure to be readjusted in flight with the clamp in order not to risk rupture by overpressure.
As a reminder: PV = nRT, it looks classy in society

The removable rescue front container is your wildcard for maximum freedom. Thanks to the smart quick-release system, it can be taken off or reattached in seconds – no need to unpack the entire harness.
The rescue risers detach with just a bowline or carabiner. The result: a lighter harness for ground handling.
