Red Bull X-Alps is often presented as the world’s toughest adventure race. It was founded in 2003 by the late adventurer Hannes Arch and has taken place every two years since then. During almost 2 weeks, 35 athletes compete to cross the Alps by running, hiking and flying. In 2025, two of them will be flying with AirDesign gear.

Davide Sassudelli, our italian team pilot has made the cut of the selection and we couldn’t be happier to support him during this epic race after having been by his side since his debuts in hike-and-fly competitions with the Volt 4.

As a mountain guide and climber, Davide has tackled some of the toughest routes in the Alps, and his paragliding journey has seen him fly nearly 500km in a single flight over Brazil. Last year, Davide finished 12th in the X-Pyr and 5th in the Bornes To Fly, a good omen for the X-Alps!

Hugo Alvarez Chamoreau is the other rookie that we will support for the Redbull X-Alps.

Originally from Mexico, Hugo has been practicing mountain and trail running for more than ten years. A paragliding pilot for 5 years, Hugo has already managed to combine his passions by flying down from the summit of Sajama 6,542m (Bolivia). We can’t wait to see him push his limits in the X-Alps!

We wish our athletes to stay healthy, to train smart and to enjoy the process.
