The Donut continues to evolve. We have added packing loops that simplify packing and keep the panels neatly together. The result: easier and faster packing — whether you are experienced or not.
Good to know (safety)
Repack your rescue at least once a year. Follow the manufacturer’s manual and the recommended weight ranges.

Do the packing loop effect the safty or sink rate?
No. They just help folding.
Do I have to use them?
No. They’re optional; you can still fold it without them.
Can I update my old Donut with packing loops?
No, they are only availble on Donuts manufactured from September 2025. Donuts manufacured before this date can be packed without packing loops.
Is this useful in the workshop?
