Introduce yourself in a few words…
I’m a big girl of 39 years old and 158cm… My heart feels closer from Gruyeres than from Fribourg.
I like:
Bikepacking with a glider, a peanut butter jar, a tent, a beanie, and some hiking boots to get to a take-off and make some great memories!
I’m less attracted by:
All activities requiring a dress code and… going to the waste disposal facility.

How do you practice paragliding?
In short:
I’m a paragliding pilot since 2012, I fly as much as I can, just for fun. I love flights that give sparkles in the eyes rather than butterflies in the stomach…

In details:
I really like hike and fly as well as bike and fly, taking off with friends in the Gruyeres District or around, as well as soaring!
I love being blown away.
I participate with great pleasure in hike and fly competitions. I am aware that I spend more time hiking than flying, XC pilots would not envy me! But this works very well for me on competitions like: Milletscup, Verticham…
I started paragliding 13 years ago. This sport has simply influenced who I am, the friends I chose to have, where I live and where I am in my life. It probably saves me, but that’s another story 😉

and AirDesign in all this?
It’s all about numbers… I got my 🪂 license with a 22.5m2 glider while I only weight 50kg… After 5 years feeling like a balloon, sometimes flying backwards, I was desperate for a smaller glider to be able to have a better glide and slightly more speed. Back in 2018, this was quite a challenge… I took part to the Vercorun and met another lightweight girl flying with a Vita 2 in 19m2!! At the time, AIRDESIGN was quite a confidential brand, it was quite a challenge to test this glider.
I love that AirDesign gliders are especially made for lightweight pilots #livilove, and I love their playful spirit! Travelling with a small RONIN still leaves some room for a big peanut butter jar!

Any comment? Go ahead!
If you’re packing your glider… It probably because you just flew. Even if the flight was not especially long/high/beautiful, enjoy it, it’s still better than packing/folding your laundry!!
