Introduce yourself in a few words…
I was born 1987 and I grew up in Cantal mountains, in the center of France. I discovered there rock climbing, ice climbing and ski mountaineering. Then I moved to the French Alps in 2012. After more than a decade of climbing, I have collected some of the finest classic routes of the Alps including the Eiger north face, the Matterhorn north face, many times Grandes Jorasses north face, many routes on the south side of Mt Blanc and Meije as well. I feel lucky and privileged to have been able to fulfill my alpine dreams. Currently, I work as a professional trainer in an engineering office.

How do you practice paragliding?
The practice of paragliding came into my life recently. I wanted to bring a fresh perspective to my approach to the mountains. The idea was also to train differently. I waited many years before starting. I went in a specialized single-skin paragliding school. I had many concerns about the reliability of the equipment, given the ultralight weight of the latest paraglider models. However, my doubts were quickly erased, and I soon felt safe and secure. Today, I practice mountaineering, trail running, and ski touring with a RONIN tucked at the bottom of my pack. This magical and high-performing wing has opened up new horizons for me. I have several projects in high-altitude mountains that I had avoid because I found them too risky in terms of dangers. Today, the ability to escape through the air changes everything, and these projects are resurfacing.

and AirDesign in all this ?
I discovered AirDesign when I started learning paragliding. I immediately appreciated the quality of their products, the safety they offer, and the wide range of their lineup. They are both lightweight and robust wings. Among their pilots, I also knew a few who deeply inspired me.

Any comment? Go ahead!
My initial goal was to descend from the mountain as quickly as possible using a paraglider. However, this practice is surprising, and I feel an increasing need to spend more time in the air. Flying allows me to experience my vulnerability with forces far greater than myself, forces I try to interact with. I love feeling small in this vastness. I have no doubt that soon a beautiful double-skin wing will join my collection. But the hardest part with AirDesign will be to choose the right one, because they’re all excellent! 🙂
